Armstrong was named one of Forbes 30 Under 30. He also won the support of two Dragons in the CBC's Dragons' Den. He lives in Toronto.

Among his projects have been the autobiography of Lincoln Alexander, the autobiography of union leader Lynn Williams, and a young readers book, Ryan and Jimmy. He lives in Cambridge, Ontario.
