The Madame Blanc Mysteries is filmed on Gozo and Malta, which means the village square where Jean first arrives, the police station, La Couronne, Gloria's garage and Jean's own cottage are all real places with real addresses, most of them within a few miles of each other.
I live on Gozo, and I've been on set during filming here. I have stood in every location in this book, worked out how you get to each one, and taken photographs of them as they look now rather than as the lighting department left them.
