of American recording artist Miley Cyrus consists of two studio albums,
one live album, two extended plays, ten singles, eight music videos, and
one soundtrack. Cyrus' debut studio album, Meet Miley Cyrus, was
released in June 2007. It was the second disc of the double album Hannah
Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus, which peaked at number one in the United
States (where it was also certified three times platinum by the
Recording Industry Association of America) and in the top ten in Canada,
New Zealand, and Norway. Her second album, Breakout, was released in
July 2008 and peaked at number one in the United States, Canada, and
Australia. It was certified platinum in the U.S. and Ireland, and gold
in the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Spain. Cyrus has
contributed to the soundtracks of the films Bolt and Bridge to
Terabithia and to the first soundtrack of the television series Hannah
Montana, but her first major contribution to a soundtrack (not counting
credits to the Hannah Montana character) was in 2009 with the soundtrack
to Hannah Montana: The Movie.
