(born July 29, 1961 in Marshall, Texas) is the founding Senior Pastor of
Gateway Church located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Pastor Robert
Morris holds a Doctorate of Divinity from The King's University in
California. He is the author of nine books including The Blessed Life,
From Dream to Destiny and The Power of Your Words, and is featured on
the weekly television program, The Blessed Life. Pastor Robert currently
resides in Southlake, TX.. His church is in the process of a massive
building project also in Southlake. Gateway Church is considered to be a
non-denominational Charismatic Christian megachurch. In just over 10
years, the church Pastor Morris started has averaged more than 18,000 in
attendance per week. His church is also the place where Christian
singer, Columbia Records recording artist and Dove Award winner Kari
Jobe works as a worship pastor.
