his career at Preußen Münster and VfL Bochum. In 1987 Brasas was
transferred to the amateur team of SV Werder Bremen. After one year with
the amateur club FC Mahndorf he was transferred to Stuttgarter Kickers
in 1989. In 1991 Brasas' team was promoted to Bundesliga. Here, however,
he was replaced by Claus Reitmaier after eight fixtures. In 1992, Brasas
was transferred to 1. FC Saarbrücken. After only one season, he returned
to Stuttgart. In 1995, Brasas moved to SV Meppen. In his first season he
was booked four times and sent off once.
