Wauters for NBC. On May 7, 2010 The Event was officially ordered to
series. It will premiere during the Fall 2010 television season, and is
scheduled to air on Mondays at 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Central. The
Event follows Sean Walker (Jason Ritter), a man who, while investigating
the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, ends up unraveling the
biggest cover-up in U.S. history, involving an assassination plot
against U.S. President Eli Martinez (Blair Underwood).
