Cynthia Frank is a long-time publisher, author, and teacher based in the Mendocino Coast region of California. She is the author of "A Mendocino Portfolio" (1988), a collaborative work featuring her spare poetry alongside black-and-white photography by Hannes Krebs. Since 1985, she has served as the Owner/CEO and President of Cypress House, a full-service book production and promotion company. She also serves as president of QED Press (the original publisher of A Mendocino Portfolio) and Lost Coast Press. Beyond her portfolio work, she is the author of In the Company of Booksellers (2015) and has contributed to and edited anthologies such as Wood, Water, Air and Fire: The Anthology of Mendocino Women Poets. She has taught for California Poets in the Schools and presented workshops for numerous organizations, including the Mendocino Coast Writers Conference and the San Francisco Writers Conference. Frank is deeply integrated into the Mendocino arts community. She served as the choral conductor for the Mendocino Women's Choir for nearly 20 years (1992-2011) and is active with the Writers of the Mendocino Coast, where she frequently speaks on independent and e-book publishing
