Hannah Graham is a British-born author, educator, and sports coach whose writing is shaped by her experience in youth work, psychology, and the complexities of personal growth and life transitions. After immigrating to New Zealand in 2011, she began pursuing fiction inspired by the people, places, and emotional landscapes that have defined her life.Born in April 1974 at St Mary's Hospital in Leeds, England, Hannah grew up in Wortley and attended West Leeds Girls' High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English and History from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne before completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Leeds. In 2005, she furthered her studies with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, deepening her understanding of human behaviour and relationships.Throughout her career, Hannah has worked as an English teacher, youth educator, and community practitioner, supporting young people through education and personal development. As a sports coach, she has also designed programmes focused on building confidence, resilience, and self-esteem in disadvantaged children.
