Lea Sakran is an author, storyteller, and professional voiceover artist based in Switzerland.
Stories have accompanied her since childhood as a source of courage, perspective shifts, and connection. With a background in music, theatre, and artistic expression, she brings narrative worlds to life with warmth, precision, and emotional depth.
She has worked at state theatres and in the independent scene as a writer, director, actor, and production lead, creating theatre and musical productions. In addition, she has contributed to opera productions, including work in text development and dramaturgy. For more than seven years, she taught creative writing and wrote over 100 scripts for image films, developing a strong sense of rhythm, narrative structure, and voice.
Drawing on her bilingual background and her refined sensitivity to cultural translation and storytelling across linguistic and cultural boundaries, Lea Sakran wrote the first volume of Gusta and Gusto Horns and Hearts in Rhino Country in both English and German to make the stories accessible to an international audience. She believes that the strongest versions of a work emerge through dialogue between languages and cultures. She shaped each edition with cultural sensitivity in language and imagery, preserving the narrative s tone, warmth, and subtle nuances.
With Gusta and Gusto Horns and Hearts in Rhino Country (Book 1), the author invites readers of all ages on a warm, humorous journey that, in its lightness, carries a quiet depth of wisdom an approach that runs throughout her work and opens windows to broader perspectives.
Lea Sakran has appeared as a guest on various podcasts, sharing insights on storytelling, voice, and creative work. She is the founder of Gusta & Gusto Publishing House.
