Listen!!! Was this book perfect in any shape or form? No.But good god, did I enjoy the hell out of this story.I just love me a character who is unlikeable as hell but that I still find myself rooting for.I'm seriously surprised she didn't kill more people along the way.The feminist/sex positive messages of the book was a bit on the nose most times but I didn't care.I just loved these characters so much and the different friendships we got.And I was just eating up the relationship in the story. I just LOVE knowing that shit will hit the fan and still be in pain as soon as it happens. I think it wrapped up too quickly but listen, I went in to this book for a good time and that's exactly what I got.And to be completely honest the reveals at the end of the book, the solving of the mystery, I saw nothing about this coming.

"¿¿¿¿'¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿. ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿."Damit startet das erste Kapitel und man weiß sofort, warum das Buch als eine Slytherin-Romanze betitelt wird.Die Protagonistin Alessandra ist selbstbewusst, weiß was sie möchte und entschuldigt sich für nichts. Sie ist aufjedenfall nicht die typische Heroine, aber genau das hat mir total gut gefallen!Der Shadow King - der Hero des Buches ist geheimnisvoll, dunkel und feministisch. Wer also Rhysand mochte, kommt hier auf seine Kosten ¿Was ich noch erwähnen möchte ist, dass ich es sehr erfrischend fand, dass unsere Protagonistin zur Abwechslung Freunde (sogar weibliche¿¿) und Hobbys hatte. Die Sidecharaktere waren meiner Meinung auch sehr schön geschrieben und einem total sympathisch!Dadurch, dass es ein alleinstehendes Buch war, hat es hier und da Mal an Tiefe gefehlt, was es aber nicht schlecht macht. Eher gegenteilig - trotzdem wünsche ich mir, das wäre nicht in sich abgeschlossen, sondern die Story würde weitergehen! ¿
