Numerous investigations have been carried out in order to minimise the motions in structures, particular in high rise buildings. This research examines the effectiveness of Tuned Liquid Dumper (TLD) with certain specific characteristics under free force motion and harmonic excitations. With this second part of the research, the influence of viscosity on rectangular tanks was investigated as to their dumping capacity and also its modelling using finite element analysis.
