Ich habe mich in den Schreibstil verliebt!
Der Schreibstil ist mitreißend und fantasiereich. Fließende Beschreibungen und Dialoge, keines von beiden nimmt hier überhand.
Die Magie ist realistisch und wundervoll ausgeführt auf eine Weise wie ich es noch nicht zuvor gesehen habe. Sie fühlte sich an wie als wäre sie tatsächlich mit einem im Raum anstatt nur ein Konzept in dieser Welt zu sein.
Die Protagonistin war überzeugend, nie perfekt oder erbärmlich.
Dieses Buch hat es geschafft immer den goldenen Weg zwischen allem zu finden, so wie die Protagonistin sich ihren eigenen Weg durch den verfluchten Wald bahnt.
Es ist keine High Fantasy aber die Welt, ihre Geschichte und Sprachen sind klug und flüssig in die Geschichte eingearbeitet worden ohne einen zu überladen.
Außerdem hält einen die Story auf Trap wo man oft nicht wusste wie die Zukunft für einige der Charaktere aussehen wird. Wundervoll übersetzt. Klare Empfehlung!
