Sisters by Heart

This is a story that could be heard and believed only through the voice of this author. Nickey Knighton's debut novel Sisters by Heart recounts the story of sorority sisters, Shondra and Cydne, ten years after graduating from their Historically Black College and University (HBCU) with the promise of sustaining their bond . . . at any cost. However, they could have never predicted what life had in store for them.





After years of marriage and two children, Shondra listens to the sound of her husband sneaking in from his affair. Cydne wants nothing more than to be a mother, but has built a life with a partner who refuses to commit to marriage, or parenthood. Leaning on their five sorority sisters for support, advice, and acceptance, no secret goes untold between these sisters by heart.
