Strange dreams return and encounters with demonic creatures increase after Maya is attacked in her Norfolk village one evening. Memories of her brother, Jack's, disappearance reacquaints Maya with a guilt she has just managed to bury. When her friends' lives are threatened, help appears in the form of a teenage boy called Leo, except, is Leo everything Maya wishes him to be or is he hiding something more sinister? Maya is a feisty, intelligent yet lonely redhead with trust issues and will do almost anything to find out what happened to her brother, but will she find him and will she be able to deal with her apparently hopeless love for Leo, while stuck in the middle of a war between the forces of Heaven and Hell.
