Echoes of Survival

At just seventeen, I was an athlete and great in sports. I was at the height of my strength, full of dreams and fire for my future. Then cancer struck-and in a single breath, everything changed. Stripped of the life I once knew, I faced a battle no young woman should have to fight. Chemotherapy almost killed me. I fought not once, but twice. And each time, where loss tried to hollow me, faith and courage filled the space. With unwavering trust in the Lord and a spirit that refused to break, I rose again-finding wholeness, joy, and purpose on the other side of devastation. My determination as a teenager that survived cancer against all odds and my God-given parents who sacrificed everything for my survival. My terrible memories of losing my leg and the cancer spreading to my lungs after the amputation. Almost losing the battle to fight for my life, I endured incredible pain and suffering. The trials and tribulations of an unwanted pregnancy and later being trapped in an abusive marriage with a well-known celebrity. Suddenly ending up in ICU again years later, fighting for my life once again by having severe organ failure - yet beating the odds again. I had survived all these tragedies just having trauma follow me again later when I got married for the second time and having my first child.
