Benny and Omar

Moving to Africa is the worst thing that has ever happened to Benny Shaw. No one plays hurling (the best game on the planet), the local school is run by hippies and finding out you have an allergy to mosquitoes couldn't come at a worse time. But when Benny meets Omar, a wise-cracking Tunisian boy who speaks English only in TV catchphrases, he decides that maybe there's fun to be had in this new country after all. Der Umzug nach Afrika ist das Schlimmste, was Benny Shaw je in seinem Leben passiert ist: Niemand spielt hier Hurling (das genialste Spiel der Welt), die örtliche Schule wird von Hippies geleitet, und schließlich muss Benny auch noch feststellen, dass er allergisch gegen Moskitos ist. Doch dann lernt er Omar kennen, der aus Tunesien kommt, ein ziemlicher Witzbold ist und beim Englischsprechen ausschließlich Fernsehsprüche von sich gibt. Endlich sieht es so aus, als könnte man auch in dem neuen Land Spaß haben.
