While I was reading the Maple Hills trilogy, my opinion kept changing. I didn't like Icebreaker at all in the beginning, it was only in the second half that the book won me over. Wildfire was a completely different story, I loved the sweet love story of Aurora and Russ. I was convinced that this would remain my favourite volume of the trilogy and could not be surpassed. But I was wrong. From the very first page, I was captivated by Daydream. I found myself in Halle and was therefore able to immerse myself even deeper in the book and understood the feelings even more than in the previous volumes. And Henry? He was a dream. Another reason I enjoyed the book as much as I did was the fake dating trope, I adore this trope haha. An absolute highlight and I miss them both already.

Die Beschreibung und Entwicklung beider Charaktere war so wundervoll und authentisch. Ich hab beide wirklich geliebt.
