In this time of denial and excuses how many of us have the courage and willingness to face the painful circumstances that we have caused or allowed others to live with, because of our own personal fear and shame? Kelly asks within these pages, in varying ways and with such humbleness, for forgiveness and reconciliation.
He encourages each one of us to live with hope, to grow with strength, honesty and continued vulnerability. I believe that I have always known even when our times were the worst and others tried to convince me to give up on him, there was a unique depth of honor and courage that couldn't be denied in his soul, just wanting to be acknowledged.
