This study aimed to analyze the effect of globalization on oral literature in Rwanda, focusing on Musanze sector and INES-Ruhengeri. Employing a mixed research design of descriptive survey and a case study, the research aimed to identify the types of globalization affecting oral literature, their effect and possible strategies. The study targeted 864 individuals, with a sample drawn through stratified and simple random sampling, including 80 students whose responses were analyzed. Data collection methods comprised questionnaires, interviews, and document reviews. Reliability of research instruments was ensured through peer and supervision review at the University of Kampala. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 20, with findings presented in frequency tables. The research revealed that commercial / trade /economic and technological globalization are the most influential factors impacting oral literature in the region.
