Grattini

The human body is a network of nerves and pressure points. In many cultures it is well known that manipulating these pressure points can bring stress relief, relaxation and, as we shall see, delight.



As a teenager, Vittorio Mosca discovered that using the fingernails to lightly scratch various parts of the body was an extremely effective method for such massage. Since this discovery of what he calls 'grattini', he has applied this method throughout his life and used it as a means of enhancing loving relationships.



In this personal account, grattini is discussed in detail, including a tracing of its historical roots and three short stories demonstrating how grattini can be used.
