Nine hundred years after nuclear war turns America into a wasteland, the ruins of Colorado are ruled by fierce warrior women who keep the men as servants, breeders, and playthings.

Two young slaves, Korvis and Gruss escape their captivity and hide out in a rebel camp within the forbidden radioactive zone. But when Korvis stumbles into an ancient bunker filled with weapons, relics, and old-world propaganda, he seizes on a wild idea: impersonate the long-awaited "Prezeedent" and use the myth to challenge the women's rule.

With rival queens, runaway slaves, laser guns, a monster called Aargh the Awful, and a battle of the sexes spiralling into full-blown wasteland warfare, Korvis and the newly crowned Vena must decide whether to keep fighting for dominance or risk building a future together.
