Like Snow We Fall by Ayla Dade is the first book of her Winter Dreams Series, and I absolutely looooved it! ¿¿¿Paisley is a talented figure skater and escaped from her life back in Minneapolis. A mother addicted to drugs and a manipulative trainer made her life a living hell. Now, all she wants is to start over in Aspen.Little does she expect that star snowboarder, Knox Winterbottom will turn their lives upside down, and there are secrets that could destroy everything... OMG! OH MY GOODNESS! Well, I saw this series EVERYWHERE in Germany and always wanted to find out what the fuss is about. Then I got the chance to read the English version, and now? I AM IN LOVE! ¿Paisley and Know are the reasons why I'm seeing lots of figure skating reels on Insta now, but I'm not mad at all! ¿¿¿Paisley is a woooonderful character!I fell in love with her right from the beginning and felt with her along her journey. That she had and has to deal with manipulative and abusive people broke my heart several times. It's even more sad that it's a real problem in the world. IMO, Ayla Dade deals with this problem in the right way. It's a dark part of Paisley's life, and of course, it left marks on her. But she's a pure fighter, and that's so inspiring! ¿¿Then there's Knox. The guy with a heart of gold, not everyone sees... except for Paisley.Yes, usually he's a party guy, a charmer, and has a different girl every night. Until he meets Paisley!!! Awwwww, how I looooved and longed for their chemistry! ¿¿¿¿¿¿It's not any kind of insta-love... I'd say they got to know each other more and more and then... something changed. ¿Yeah, it's not an easy peasy relationship, and sometimes I was even a bit annoyed because of the back and forth. Buuuut, most of the time, I looooved them so much, and I loved their personal development. How they both supported each other and stuff like that. ¿It was also so interesting to learn more about figure skating and snowboarding! ¿¿¿Well, now that I finished Like Snow We Fall, I wanna move to Aspen too. I'm not a figure skater, but I could work as a chalet girl. ¿So if you love suspense, drama, intense emotions, longing, ups and downs, secrets, personal growth, Aspen, sexy times, and great friends - this one's for you! ¿¿¿¿¿¿Thanks a lot to Ayla Dade and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this ARC via NetGalley.
